A new leadership team in Madagascar

mada
A real plebiscite for the one who was the right hand of the late founder of the FSBM, Dolys Randriamarohaja, who died just one week ago and after having concocted together the setting up of this federation which puts an end to the transitional period to become today a full-fledged federation recognized at the international level.
Betafo, a breeding ground. Amir Andrialemirovason did not fail to pay a vibrant tribute to Dolys Randriamarohaja giving a solemn aspect to this elective General Assembly which was held in the rules under the eyes of the representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Finaritra Privat, but also of the representative of the Malagasy Olympic Committee, Marcel Rakotomalala of Malagasy Rugby.
The latter welcomed the return of pétanque to the Olympic fold while insisting that pétanque remains a discipline capable of winning world titles as the players compete with the best in the world. A remark that holds true especially for Marcel Rakotomalala who comes from Betafo, the breeding ground of the best boulistes of Madagascar.
Realities of the field. As for Amir Andrialemirovason, he unveiled part of his programme, notably the sensitisation of clubs to join the FSBM. He also set himself the objective of putting the provincial leagues back on track to offer them technical and organisational training in order to develop this discipline.
As he was twice president of the Diana league, he knows better than anyone the realities of the field. In short, a good president who is surrounded by enthusiasts of petanque and for the most part close to Dolys Randriamarohaja. Continuity in fact. And it is so much better for the Malagasy pétanque.
It should be noted that the eight leagues still in activity were present at this AGE, namely Analamanga, Atsinanana, Haute Matsiatra, Boeny, Itasy, Menabe, Alaotra Mangoro and Vakinankaratra.
