For Thailand money doesn't make happiness ! After being beaten in the three shooting final the day before, the Thai players hoped to find themselves at the top of the ranking in the triplet events, especially since, in two of the three categories, their teams had finished in the lead after the qualifying games disputed according to the Swiss system. These performances were confirmed by the accession of their three teams to the finals, but they all underwent the law of motivated opponents whose quality continues to increase over the years, as it has been seen in the last world championships for Youth and Women in Phnom Penh.
From December 16th to 22d take place in Hanoi (Vietnam) the Asian Petanque Championships, the odd years being devoted to triplets: Youth, Women, Men and Mixed. Although the dates and the invitations were sent late, competitors gather a dozen countries on a wonderful site entirely dedicated to pétanque.

Iwan Rosyidi was our support for the presence of petanque at the Asian Games when its former president was not moving despite our joint visit to the NOC of Indonesia. During the 2011 SEA GAMES, part of which was organised in this country, he took care of the petanque competitions in his city of Palembang and the organisation was perfect. While the Indonesian federation had been suspended for not joining the new Asian confederation (ABSC), its president not understanding the reasons for the change and preferring to stay close to the former leaders of the former suspended confederation, he had organized the start of a new federation and travelled with a team to the 2016 world championships in Madagascar.
The 17th World Youth & Women's Championships which will take place from 18 to 24 November in Phnom Penh at Cambodia are in place. Some 60 participating teams from the 5 confederations Africa, Asia, Europa, Oceania & Panam America are expected by the Cambodia Petanque Federation, organizer of these competitions. Iranian National Annual Championships during the Humanitarian Games 2019 - Players from all around of the country gathered in Hamedan, capital of the history and civilization of Iran, for celebrating 4th National Humanitarian Games and also 10th year of the Boules and Petanque Association of Iran becoming FIPJP, FIB and CBI sole national member. Triples and shooting for men, women and juniors were the events that organizer planned for Aug 29-30, 2019 and successfully implemented in a spectacular environment at the front of governmental and sport officials.
