Initially scheduled for 2020 in Lausanne (Switzerland), these 49th World Championships for Triplettes & Precision Shooting for Men were postponed to July 2021 and then definitively cancelled in Lausanne due to the worldwide pandemic. Finally, after many consultations between the FIPJP and the Spanish Petanque Federation, the 49th World Championships for Men were held from 19 to 21 November 2021 in Santa Susanna (Spain).
